"Avria..."Mearculun put a hand on her shoulder as Tsui started to turn into a dark red ash. A silver and maroon moon on a silver necklace was in place of his body,the ash floating away. Avria picked up the jewlery.  "The gift..."  Mearculun looked at Avria as the words spilled out of her mouth and he realized now,that he had seen Avria AND Tsui both wearing a necklace like the one in front of her. A drop of salty water fell on the ground,then another on the necklace.

"Tsui!"   
"Avria!Get off her, Smurfette!" Mearculun took a piece of scrap wood from a pile by the fireplace and bashed the ghost across the head. She screeched and fell backwards.Avria opened her eyes and saw her lover standing in the doorway.   
Tsui was all bloody, and his clothes were tattered and ripped. He had two handcuffs around his wrists, but the chain was broken off of them. He looked beaten and worn out, but Avria liked him that way. She sighed and began to walk over to him.   
 
Tsui smiled at her, then gasped." Avria!" he shoued. She turned around Vampire Rising Chapter 20

Mearculun opened his eyes an pulled his lips away.What was he thinking?she was in love,and it certainly was not with him.~I can't!~ he said to himself,and walked out of the now burnt-to-a-crisp rose garden,carrying the limp angel in his arms.   
Avria squinted her eyes."whoa...what happened?"she looked around,everything was fuzzy,and her head hurt like a sonofabitch.She noticed she was moving,but she wasnt walking. Avria looked up to see Mearculun smiling weakly down at her.
